First time here. Loved it. Juicy chicken. Forgot what it was called. But it was the first one under the Pressed Sandwich no menu. Possibly the BR Sandwich? Would recommend coming again. A bit pricey, but all good since great tasting delis are a bit pricey.

West-facing, so in afternoon Sun, so Glad they have a partial green awning and 2 big sun umbrellas for Shade and less insolation ! Felt like 90F! First timer, so 1st, order from the Right side of the counter, cash register and touch screen. Yes, they take AX or c/c s or cash. But I had to stand in the middle of the counter to read the back wall menu,,, forgot my glasses. They have Dutch Crunch bread,,, and the tomatoes were Not pale, so that's Good! So hard to find tasty big flavor sourdough bread these days, after closing of Toscana and Colombo and the former Excellent supplier to SBay Costcos from Watsonville! Boudin is just too mild-flavored. I chose #1 chicken and #16 roast beef. One for lunch, one for dinner. The sub was a Good 8 inches and there are lots of fill options. Cut in half, wrapped, and labelled. Both women were very pleasant and patient. Both subs tasted Good with about half an avocado in each. Price about $11 each, plus tax. Lived here for years but never saw/knew of CJ's until looked up "best subs" online. Hope to return.

Wow, sandwich overload. Best sandwich shop on the Peninsula - and there's many, so that's saying a lot. Tons of choices. My favorite is the chicken licken.
